Description I normally wait until I'm finished with a game before I start making drawings from it, but in this case I couldn't help it. This is Rose from Tales of Zestiria. They pretty much fused together my favorite characters here.

The background is loosely based on the city of Lastonbell. (I had to include the birds because the programmers did such a good job creating the flocks of birds flying off in the distance.)

You drew Rose so pretty though! Randomly noted, I really like how you drew the shape of her body. I know that sounds a bit weird but it just seems like a natural pose Rose would make. uvu

And man.. I envy your skills in drawing backgrounds. They have such character to them. I cant even draw a simple house U:

Thanks so much! I think in the days after I drew this picture I came to like her even more. Everyone keeps trying to use her or manipulate her emotions and she just doesn't flinch. They not only combined my favorite characters into one, but they made her tough as nails too. *__*

If I've come to realize one thing about that, it's that drawing the outlines or details of a building just doesn't work. You have to start with shapes and colors and keep on molding them until you can actually see what kind of structure the building has and determine how the details SHOULD look. Once you've got that set in your mind, the rest becomes rather easy. It's that first part, establishing relative distances, lighting and a decent composition that's the hardest.

Yaaaaay, Rose~ I love her so much XD And I am nowhere near finishing the game. Sadly, it keeps crashing on me, so I won't be finishing anytime soon, either.

I love her too. I'm taking my time with it. School's started and I need to do a lot of recording videos to keep the work flowing, but I'll find time to continue the game no matter what. (Sorry to hear that. Still, I've gotten through 3 Assassin's Creed games and 3 Elder Scrolls Games so you'll make it there eventually, glitches or not.)

Well, it's not so much a glitch in the game as it is the play station lazer lens reader is broken. We keep meaning to find some time to send it in to get it fixed, but just haven't gotten to that yet with everything that's been going on.

This looks awesome! It feels so dynamic and bright; I love her pose, and I could tell right away that it was Lastonbell (and it looks great!). The birds were a great touch ;D

Thanks so much! I had to try a few different things and the drawing ended up being a huge deal that took up a lot of time, but it worked out for the best.

I liked the birds I had in another drawing so much I made them into a brush.

That's exactly it. She's just like Leia, who was my favorite character in the series. Then they went and combined her with Sheena and made Rose, so she's pretty much my favorite by default right there.

Thanks! Funny thing, I accidentally saw it in the mirror after I finished it and I liked the way it looked so much I made a second version. Thank goodness Rose's design is perfectly symmetrical.
