Here's an older piece I did a long while ago. I had written a fanfic called Godzilla vs Trajan(top right), and I was so fascinated by Gigan I started exploring different aspects of the kaiju, treating the monster more like it was part of an actual race of 'Gigans' as opposed to being a single creature. This image used to be the intro image to my site Gigan Species , but I changed it to a newer graphic that I'll post later

i know! i even designed my own OC Gigans Hexian and Grinder as inspiration by these stories :') I based them on DestroyaDes's style. I miss them!

A Gigan species huh? Hmm. I can see that. They never really explained what Gigan was in any of his appearances. Sure they had control over him, but he wasn't necessarily their creatiopn. Except in Godzilla Final Wars, he's obviously made by the Xiliens.

When I was little I'd watch Godzilla vs Gigan over and over trying to figure out how many different animals were jammed into Gigan and how they all worked in relation to one another, I loved him! Though I did like that they never explained whether or not he was actually born, hatched, or created in a lab. I think it added to his charm.

Yeah. Gave him an air of mystery. Gigan was an amazing kaiju who deserved all the fans he got. A friend of mine is a huge fan of him. I wrote a battle between his Showa form and Kiryu too. I love the guy, but not as much as some of the others.

When I was little I absolutely *adored* Gigan, mostly because he was one of the first monsters that I'd ever seen beat the living crap out of Godzilla. Since then I always had a special interest in him
