Quite some time ago I was a member of an online Godzilla RPG/message board. Long story short, I got bored with it and the people there, but while I was there I came up with some fun monsters. One of the first was a kaiju based on King Ghidorah that I named Ghidorant.Here's something funny, take a look at the Ghidorah heads sunken into his shoulders, now go take a look at Monster X from Godzilla Final Wars. Weird isn't it? They could be shoulder-buddies...

Oh, so this is a Ghidorant. Looks really cool. Kind of like a young Ghidorah. The shoulder heads do look similar to Monster X. Was that intentional, or no? it could be that this guy mutated into Monster X after being given Xilien DNA, thus making it more humanoid, but then when it was given all that power in GFW it referred back to it's Ghidoran form and became Kaizer Ghidorah.

Nope, not intentional, I actually created Ghidorant years before Monster X came into existence. He was a fun character to create, and I still have plans for him

Oh cool. It's kinda funny how much the two are similar even though Ghidorant came first. What are your plans for him?

I've been working on a series of stories that he'll be making an appearance in, after some design tweaking of course! Everything's still really rough, but I'm looking to have something a little more tangible in the beginning of the new year.

Ghidorah is my all time favorite kaiju, even above the big G himself. I have an almost obssesion with all thing draconic, so when I saw a three headed, two tailed space dragon I was like. "FREAKIN AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Thank you! When Death Ghidorah appeared I loved the implications of Ghidorah being an actual race of creatures instead of just one monster, which was definitely an inspiration for Gigan Species.

Holy cow, you remember those?! Hehe, awesome! Yep, I created Trajan for Godzilla vs Trajan, and then most of the other Gigan types on Gigan Species. It started off as a collaborative effort with a partner who created about 5 of the 50+ Gigans floating around that page, but sadly came to a rather er, messy end

shoulder buddies *snickers* That's funny. he looks cool. I was always a personal fan of mecha-godzilla.........until he fought with the real Godzilla and nearly killed him.

I think one of my all-time favorite Godzilla movies was Terror of Mecha-Godzilla.. as much as I love Godzilla, I get an extra kick out of seeing him get his butt whooped... except when it's by Mothra, I'll never buy that, ever... yarg...

I was sad that he died, but mostly because he was yet another victim of that conniving Mothra! "You grab the head dear, and I'll nab the tail! Is it dangerous? Nah, Godzilla's out cold."
