WELL HOW COME AN ARTIST OF UR ORIGIN SEEMS SO FASCINATED BY INDIA ? I M AN INDIAN AND DO WISH TO MEET U WHENEVER U VISIT HERE .. U HAVE CAPTURED THE SCENE VERY NICELY AND ONE DOES FEEL THE TINGE OF THE SITUATION.

Strangely enough it made me homesick :S I'm really messed up up here (points at head).
What i really loved is the bag seems to be aflame! .. or is it? i hope not 'cause that means
that im REALLY going blind...

what makes this photo truly amazing is that amidst all the dark shades of poverty outlined in both the poem and the actual image, there is a flash of colour; and to me, that bright yellow symbolizes hope.

A beautiful photo, sad really, but beautiful. I love the way you captured such emotion, the description works so well. Its sad what poverty can do.

this is really striking. the boy almost blends into the scene, but once i realized he's there, a wash of feelings came over me.
truly a great shot.

Ooooh - this is a real beauty, even if the subject or theme of the photo is so unfortunate - but then life is such a place of unegual opportunity. i keep looking and looking at the wonderfull composure of the picture, the overall greyish-greenish colouring... and suddenly the yellow bag just pops up. The colours are just wonderfull
And I keep thinking how on earth did you manage to turn a 800 ISO conventional shot on film into a perfectly balanced picture .... no that's not what I wonder. Naturally you can turn that into a picture. I'm really wondering how did you manage to digitalize it, so that it looks as good as it does on a PC screen. I'll keep looking for an answer to this buzzling question for peronal reasons. Meanwhile I'll continue following up your good work.

Amazing! I could look at this for a long time. The picture is perfect and the colors are spectacular! At first it was hard to tell what I was looking at, I like that kind of challenge. See I look at the picture first before reading the artist's comment.

I like your photos and......
Like them the more cause there is a concept.
Art is about commucication for me
no matter if it's about music or visual.
To be gicen some thought's or means to make ones own.
I like much in this one.
But aomehow it feels a tad overcrowde
But I like it anyway.
