Description
This was shot on one of the coldest day I can remember.It was about -7 degrees, which is some kind of a record in Israeli weather.
I was driving around Ramat-Hagolan in a 4*4 drive, so the cold weather didn't really bother me, at least until i wanted to open a window, or get out to shoot something.
It was hard to see the cow standing out there, in the cold air, watching the storm coming.
Helpless in this weather, knowing that maybe she wont make it this time.

All I can say, is that I hope this one did.

wow, very beautiful! when i look over all your thumbnails, i get depressed and think that someone as good as you must recieve too many comments to even read mine, but then i remember how just one comment can mean more than a pageful. im glad you braved even cold weather for this gem. keep em comming and this comment is for you, man! ^^

This, like many of your pics, has a really surreal effect. There is a lot of noise i ithnk in this pic, which gives it an old feeling, which i'm not eally sure works wit the content. It's amazing tha tu captured such a funny shot of that cow, who looks so odd in the beautiful oncoming weather

this may be odd, but with the way our school systems have taught me about the hindu religion, they respect cows in a way us americans dont even fathom.
But thats the first thing when i thought about it. I've NEVER seen a cow in a way that made them more than just food. I have to give you amazing amounts of credit for that.

if only -7 was cold. I live where it's been -30 for 2 weeks with harsh wind. I don't live in the arctic. cool pic, though. i like the cow. the colours are cool too.

nice view and combination.
i like the surreal look of it and i like it even more because it is not the manipulation that makes this shot look so otherwordly but the composition and combination.

I think that you have captured the "coldness" of the day when you chose these colors, and I like the slight grain that the photograph has to it. My first impression of this was a feeling of sadness, but also of survival.
