I think I would normally disable comments on something like this, but since I'm gonna be leaving on Monday, I decided to keep them up.
I went to visit my brother Eric's grave the other day. Eric passed away of leukemia a few months before I was born, so I never actually got to see him, but it felt right to say goodbye to "the whole" family before I leave.
Anyways, the trip didn't go quite as expected. I had planned to have some light still out while I was there, but I had trouble finding the place. It's a small cemetery up in the mountains. I also had no idea what his grave looked like. So by the time I had found it, probably an hour and a half had passed, it was pitch black, and I was freezing my nubs off.
Right when I read his name, I just starting crying uncontrollably. To help you understand how much this hit me emotionally, I watched all of Angel Beats without tearing up.
Anyways, it was a very fulfilling night, and his grave will probably be the first place I go when I get back ^u^

As for the picture itself, I'm sorry it looks kinda rushed, but it is. After tomorrow, I'm not gonna be able to use a computer for anything but answering family emails, until I get back from my mission.
