Description
An alternate entry for #David-Tennant-Love 's 'Emotional David' contest. But, in the end I decided to go with the one of David below.Oh Doctor, you be so nostalgic... *wibble*

Anyway, done in pencil on standard recycled white sketchbook paper, whites made grey in Photoshop, then added white highlights in Corel Painter. About two to three hours of work. (Tutorial here: [link] ).

If I could double favorite this one I would. I knew exactly where this came from without even having to see the title. Amazing work, you captured his facial expression amazingly well, the detail astounds me. So. Stinking. Amazing. Love it!

I think you made the right choice of submitting the other deviation. Not that this isn't great but the other holds so many more layers. This is just him smiling and remembering... there is a deeper pride in his old planet and maybe some regret but that is harder to see. I love that you capture him so well, great work
