Another box I burnt over the weekend. And this one was fun going in and out of the traditional Japanese design, and into the anime, and into the design for a character that has no existing “parallel” (Shukaku IS a Tanuki, but his design is ultimately different than the traditional ones found).Gargar gave me some problems when I was trying to draw him out, but then he became a sweetheart and I managed to peg him. Narnar on the other hand was VERY compliant from the start... complete with spiky hair. They are so cute.
The cool thing is... this box is a tissue box! Just dump in a plain old tissue box and close the lid... it’s a nice useful piece of décor!
