how do you add the map to a shaded sphere in vue? how do you make clouds behave like that?

To create the planet you must go in option >> Unit and cordinate >> activate the sphere terrestrial >> then adjust the diameter to 500 km...
Well there are many metods to load a map of the surface, i advice you that go in the material option and click on mapped picture, then load an image of your favourite planet map.
I advice you check the image " Earth " it's better,[link] .
Don't be nervous for the clouds ! It's very very Simple !
People sometime loads a lot of cloud layers to created a planet similar to the earth but it's not correct !! For the clouds : you must created another ground , put that near to the surface of the planet, then go in material option and open the function editor ... Here you must create 2 map : in the first load the default cloud map of vue and invert it, this is must connected in ALPHA with grayscale, then the second one load the same map and don't invert it, this is must connected in BUMP. for the color you can load a white map... FINISH !
