Description This is a part of Kata Tjuta, otherwise known as the Olgas. The rock formation is large, and situated basically within sight of Uluru. It is beautiful and impressive, a site of much spiritual significance to the Aboriginals of the area. This of course means that access is limited. Regardless, it is still amazing.

It is a shame Uluru gets so much attention; Kata Tjuta is just as impressive.

Thank you. When you only have the blue of the sky, the red of the rock, and occasionally some greenery (it rained the week prior to me being there), nature is bound to give you some beautiful contrast.

I love how I've been there too. Uluru and Kata Tjuta are actually in the same national park (called Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, original hey?) so when people go to Uluru, they find out about Kata Tjuta and do a day trip.

And I'm saving the prettiest ones for later *grin*
