Where: Port MacquarieI'm very proud of this one. But there are things i would change if i could do it again, like the stick, and hose across the seat.

Absolutely unintentionally. Which is a shame, I wish I could have a do over. But for me, it shows that sometimes accidents can look good, and that as my skills grow, silly oversights like that might become more rare.

The colours are really amazing. I would have chosen a different angle though, much lower, so one wouldn't look down on the boat, but about from the same angle as the boat, and then more of the water, and maybe also the horizon.

Thank you, I liked some of those ideas. It really is an old photo by now, so no redos. Sadly, the horizon is the one thing I couldn't include. Dark (but not silhouetted) oyster farms are not the best background. Something has always bothered me about this piece though, and I think you are right, something is off with the angle. Thanks for the suggestion, after all, its the only way people improve.

Love the pic. it would only take a few min. to remove the two things you dont like in photoshop, but I kinda like them in the pic.. Just shows the boat gets used

Thank you. My photoshop skills are basically nil. I can make something black and white, and I can up the colour contrast (with the enhance area) but anything else defeats me. Layers make me cry. I've tried to use tutorials and I still don't get it. I have to wait to get a friend to explain it, and I'm guessing that might take a while for me. But thanks, I'll keep the idea that it adds something in mind if I do decide to edit this.
