Description If vanity's name is woman, then an alias is surely Minerva. Of all the bizzare characters and utter maniacs that surround Noric and his Sage Corps, General Minerva is perhaps the strangest of all. The self appointed 'Miss.Salvatica' is more concerned with her looks and mannerisms than she is with her role as General of The Sage Corps. Only Supreme General Vestial has a higher rank, which also means that only Vestial is a more powerful Sage within the organization. A fact that causes no amount of grief for Vestial, Noric, and the entire Sage Corps. Sage Corps troops always hold a degree of fear when dealing with a superior in the organization, but no one is more feared than Minerva. In true "mirror mirror on the wall" fashion she's been known to randomly line up her troops and have them comment on her appearance. The wrong responce, even if it was a positive one, is often fatal. Minerva is madly in love with her superior, General Vestial, further adding to his misery. But Minerva knows well of Vestial's fondness for The Princess of Salvatica, and so hates the young matriarch with a passion. Despite her obsession with always acting lady like, she's prone to bouts of utter rage and brutality, a state that's amazingly easy to bring on in her if she feels her looks or honor have been tarnished.

This profile shot of this character is in short: breathtaking and deserves to be mentioned that there isn't a whole lot wrong with it.

Its obvious by the lack of background that you truely just wanted to emphasis the character and write up a profile, which works fine, but even a simple background gradient or pattern, or even "vital stats" somewhere to fill up the white space would be preferable.

As for the character herself, Im a little concerned about the choice of colour between the fur and on the tail and ears, as opposed to her skin and hair color. They dont exactly mash well to the eye and theres a big conflict over which to focus on.
I love the blue hair, thats a good choice, but id either make her skin darker or play around with other colour options for the tail and ears to help blend her choice in fashion as well.

Speaking of which, the costume is sexy and original. I wouldn't change anything on it. Though when looking at it, the boots arent exactly "symmetrical". The yellow arrows tip on 'her' left boot is noticably shorter (higher up) than the one on 'her' right. I know perspective and forshortening are playing a role here, and its executed pretty well, but thats the biggest omission i can spot.

I dont have much else beyond that, the profile shot definitely works, its well crafted, and the character is original. So for that i give you major props for this accomplishment in a completely over saturated field.

You have both of my thumbs, way way up.

That is so very clean and actually classy anthropic for a change. There is a fine line between art and yiff, and you captured my attention, my respect, my +FAV lol. This picture looks good, and turns me on just enough not to feel like a weirdo. The lines are crisp, the highlights are dynamic and blue not just boring white. Her lines in her form are very inviting and sexy. I actually hope my stuff can be as clean. (*see bottom) If anything I feel a BG and/or shadow would help, but isn't really needed. I scored as follows:

Vision 4.5

Originality 5

Technique 5

Impact 5

I Crit = Please return the favor

*(please crit my anthro chick, very similar looking... weird)

I just wanted to respond that i think you meant "furry art" or "anthropomorphism". "Yiff" is a generalized term for anthropomorphic porn.

For the most part though i think your critique wasn't much of a critique, its can be summed up generally as a normal comment with an emphasis on how much it amazes you.

Try commenting and focusing more on what could be improved while also praising what was done right.
The critique was fair, but not specific to any point.

i did check out my critique on the same piece to know what im talking about.

in retrospect though i must apologize, the post wasn't intended to single you out or "destroy" the post or anything, just merely wanted to point out that the critique just wasn't exactly critiquing anything. It could have certainly been worded better, wasn't intended to sound mean or demoralizing

sorry

Oh pretty picture. Her face reminds me a bit of the Princess actually, but I guess its just because they both are young female Wolf Anthros with blue hair. Her outfit looks interesting too, I like the little tiara and her shoulder guard.
Interesting personality and everything, and rivalry with the princess, I can sense some interesting developments with this in the actual books.
