Description Service to one's King, service to one's country, serving those in need, and protecting the innocent. These are the vows by which Lt.General Athens of The Sage Corps dedicates his life, it is for this purpose he wields his sword. It is these lies that he rants on and on to his men about that cause him to be almost as hated within The Sage Corps ranks as Vestial. Athens is first and foremost a vile coward worthy of one's ire. He speaks of bravery, but relies on others to do the fighting for him. He speaks of honor, but would do anything to get ahead. He's one of General Minerva's brothers, and is the youngest of the trio of siblings. His cowardice and underhandedness are perhaps made more despicable by the simple truth that within The Sage Corps ranks only Supreme General Vestial and General Minerva wield greater powers, and only Lt.General Prometheus is his equal. Despite this he's become the face of the purification of the mainland movement, and personally leads attacks and round ups on Salvatican rodents and felines, from which they are sent to Sage Corps labs or forced labor camps, often never to be seen again. These public run arounds and his habit of blathering on about noble ideals have led to him becoming quite popular with the public.

We can give it to the Black Paw and then they can parade in front of Sage Corps headquarters and mock him.

Thanks, glad you like how it turned out. The Sage Corps (especially the higher ups) aren't as consistent in their unfiroms as the regular army.

Is that to do with status or just personalities?

You mean the different uniforms thing? The Sage Corps are an elite unit so they have a bit more freedom when it comes to uniforms as they only answer to Commanders, The siblings, and Vestial. (And to a non direct degree, Noric and Monarch) Of those, only Lt.General Athens is overly picky about the dress code. (Minerva obviously pays it no mind)

So you'd see more variety in terms of the uniform colours etc right?

Whats the signature colour uniform for those lowest down the ranks?

GleamingScythe In reply to SolidCocoon [2009-04-20 15:45:32 +0000 UTC]

Team Red wears red, and not so suprisingly, anyone from Team Blue wears.. blue. As The Sage orps continues to grow, there are some shortages in uniforms though in between new ones being made, so even the lowest possible rankers sometimes wear something other than their armor.

Is there any difference in mass, are higher ranks given more protective heavy armour or the same?

GleamingScythe In reply to SolidCocoon [2009-04-20 19:24:30 +0000 UTC]

Higher ranks wear less armor actually. Every Sage is protected by aura. Aura is the mark of a Sage, and the more powerful the Sage, the more powerful a defense the aura provides. So high rankers like Vestial, Minerva and Athens rely on their auras for defense and not armor.

Why are these sage corps people smucks?

GleamingScythe In reply to 12345678abc [2009-04-19 19:36:21 +0000 UTC]

They want to take over the world.. So they try to be flashy and encourage people's existing prejudices to gain massive public support for their cause. And there are so many hidden agendas in the Sage Corps higher ranks that almost no one actually in The Sage Corps knows their true goals but everyone wnats in because it's the biggest thing to happen in Salvatica since the revolution.
