I suppose it all comes down to opinions. I spoke with a psychologist friend and she said it all comes down to schools of thought, some people think personality traits are a black and white deal, others think that what defines a person's personality really is the whole set of grays you get in between, it really depends but I lost nothing from listening to her opinion and I also got a nice recommendation for a book, so I surely didn't mind reading her, it was very informative.

Thanks a lot for saying you like him, we'll be more than happy to see you applying for our next opening. I do believe a non bender one might be in a couple of weeks, so keep your eyes open for news about that~

I'm one of those who believe in the grey areas. XD Just too much in the spectrum to lump into one or the other. ;n;

I saw that in the blogs when I was looking over the group. ;u; I may make a Non-Bender, not sure though ouo; I have a water bender stuck in my head that I wanna use. I just gotta develop her and stuff for the group.

Thanks for that. I was simply making a comment of my own opinion. I like this girl and I think Jin is a very well draw and carried out character. I never insulted him or her (for that matter). And what you are saying about yourself, that's all fine and dandy. I actually help run a role play site and I guess I was in my personality mode for it (again its a pet-peeve I apologize) and wanted to make a statement. So thank you. No one is retarded and that's just plan mean.

She doesn't necessarily referred about you with the retarded comment, just saying. Maybe she simply disliked the tone of that other guy because it did seem somewhat harsh and maybe a little white knighty, but hey, its only normal people are jumpy after an enrollment and rightly so. We never intended for people to feel like they're not worthy, we wanted them to strive to get better, ultimately you don't draw an app picture to get in the group, or at least I don't think that should be the approach, but instead you try to get better.

In anyway, best of luck with your role play site.

Yes I know, just the 'people' in general. I'm touching about that would. Yes, I suspected so too. And yeah, its full of feelings and such. I understand what you all are there for. Everyone takes things a different way.

In reality no one is keeping you anchored to the group, if it pisses you off you can simply walk away, hey, this is the internet, there is a billion sites to see. Nor do I understand how I didn't handle the criticism correctly, I simply stated my opinion and the person is right, I never quite took a psychology class before, but I do observe a lot so I stated my opinion on the matter. She stated it was her pet peeve, I talked on what she stated expressing my opinion, was I harsh or rude? Nope.

As I stated before, we had a big bunch of apps and we had to grade accordingly, we didn't quite set the standard, you all did. Competition was tough and we never said it was going to be easy, after all we had only so much space available. You're free to think as you wish but don't assume you know how I'm handling criticism, you don't even know me.

There are people who can be incredibly patient about certain topics or situations and handle poorly on others, personality traits do not necessarily need to be laid out in a black and white manner, that's incredibly unrealistic, it all depends on the character's interests and priorities. Saying its either one or the other is almost as silly as saying a cheerful person can never be sad or a depressed person would never smile.

Take a psychology class and learn about personalities then come back to me. It is basically black and white. And the bottom part: it is basic human emotion. What I was saying is more about complex personalities.

Perhaps I should, though sadly in my country education doesn't quite work like that, I can't take those classes unless I'm enrolled to a particular degree and I'm done with tertiary education. Are you a psychology major, can you perhaps recommend me a book on personalities?

I'm sorry you live in unfortunate circumstances and I hope you don't feel attacked. I took a psychology class in my high school and in college so I don't need a degree to know a lot about psychology. I would suggest the basics on psychology or even a college text book about it for some reading. The internet can help to. But, I'd recommend: Personality Psychology: Domains of Knowledge About Human Nature. Good book if you can find it. Though I find this all to be common knowledge. Hope that helps.

I'm taking a class on sociology and its so interesting. Always fun to learn something new. You welcome. And btw, I love your character Jin and you are an amazing artist.
