Hmm. Gwen Poole was used to being in places she wasn't used to... being... in. This alien place could prove to be interesting, even though that blue woman was walking her way with that gaudy glove. She maybe could get around her by accessing gutterspace, but for some reason, even though her current universe had a fully described landscape, the asshole actually running this universe couldn't be bothered to create backgrounds, much less draw comic panels. She suspected he refused to do comic panels, would never ever do comic panels, in fact, and was sick to death of people asking for them.

So whatever. She still had to deal with this woman, and obviously this woman was looking for her. She needed a distraction. Knowing the woman loved balloons for some damn reason, she pulled a bright yellow one out of her side pouch, inflated it, and stuck her mask over the top of it.

Not quite right.
