America Chavez had just completed her first year of college. After she had finished dealing with the stress of papers and final exams, America needed to start off her summer vacation with a bang. What better way to do that than cross-dimensional travel? Beat up some bad guys, catch up with some old friends, taste some ‘local’ cuisine. What else could a girl ask for?

With one roundabout kick, America Chavez smashed open a star-shaped portal into what she had believed was Earth-616. However, when she stepped through the portal, she discovered that she did not travel to that Earth, or any Earth, for that matter. Once through the portal, she stumbled upon a bizarre sight, where dozens of heroes, along with a few villains, had been warped into inhuman shapes. While there were a few individuals who had not been transformed yet, America concluded that the blue-skinned alien was behind all of this.

“As a member of the Ultimates, I demand you cease your reality-warping activities at once!” America said to Nebula. She then smashed her fist into the palm of her other hand. “Otherwise, this might get ugly.”

“You certainly have spunk,” Nebula responded to America’s threats. “I like that quality in my victims.
