Fire-fighter A: springs in front of Fire-fighter B and puts out hand to stop him Woah! Just what the Hell do you think you're doing?
Fire-fighter B: Uh... I'm - I'm gonna save the guy trapped in that building.
Burning voice: Ahhh!
Fire-fighter A: Hold it right there, buddy. You can't reveal yourself to the guy in that building.
Fire-fighter B: Why not?
Fire-fighter A: Because that would violate his free will. If you prove your existence to him, then he's no longer freely choosing to be saved.
Burning voice: Ahhh!
Fire-fighter B: What?! So we're just supposed to stand out here and let him burn?
Fire-fighter A: Well; unless he believes, without actually seeing us, that fire-fighters are on the scene ready to rescue him - then we don't rescue him! Got it?
Fire-fighter B: C-can I at least shout out to him?
Fire-fighter A: mocking Uhhh, no! That would be revealing yourself, wouldn't it? If he doesn't believe we're here, then he's rejecting us.

(2 hours later... The building continues to burn, screams continue to come from inside until the scene changes. A pretty lady reporter is interviewing fire-fighter A)
Reporter: Were there any casualties?
Fire-fighter A: Uhh, yeah. Unfortunately, there was one casualty. A man rejected our attempts to rescue him because he didn't believe that we were there.
Reporter: That... doesn't actually make any sense.
Fire-fighter A: Look, whatever lady! It's my policy to only save people that love me.
Reporter: Wowww! Okay... Any idea how the fire started?
Fire-fighter B: Uhhh, no. We don't know how the fire started yet, but investigators are gonna be checking it out through...
