A ' promotional ' image for my favorite place in the world, Japan.Originally some of the contents of this design were for an online radio-cast called Far East Radio back in 2006.
I was recently looking at the design and thinking of doing something else with it. So I edited it a bit, threw in some new things and created what you see before you.
My influence on this design was from early Japanese film posters and film company logos from the 'Showa' period (mainly the 1950's)... I love that old painted/grainy look.
(*sidenote: the Japanes text below 'Japan' reads 'Gojera no Design' which translates to 'Gojera Designs' )

i dreamed about going there all my childhood too - then finally did in 2003 (during college years)... not impossible for anyone... helps to make some good friends there, you'll end up not having to pay for so much.
