Part 13 of the EPIC HALLOWEEN PROJECT introduces one of my favorite bits of casting, as the two characters involved are among my favorite villains from their respective franchises and the way they fit together is quite nice if I do say so myself. This is also an instance where, in order to balance the two designs together, I actually had to get a bit creative in spots.Metal Sonic = Imperfect Cell

Heh, I do like the paralleling evolutions, but I admit, I again can't quite make the connection stick for me; what, beyond the three forms thing, does Mecha Sally REALLY have to connect her with Cell as a character?

Awesome. In the comic Im making, Cell absorbs Metal Sonic and receives some modifications to the official perfect cell look. Though I havent gotten to that stage of my comic, but it is one of the ideas Im implementing.

So others have mentioned, but I ultimately felt the visual distinction of Metal Overlord worked a lot better for the purpose of the picture.

I feel like Neo Metal Sonic would make a better Perfect Cell, and Metal Overlord as the form Cell takes when he makes himself grow ttrying to take out SSJ2 Gohan.

I considered that, honestly, but in the end he looked too similar to old-school Metal Sonic for me to really make the design work; he just wound up looking too much like "Imperfect" Cell!Metal Sonic for my tastes.

Oh of course. X3 Even with the obvious DBZ homages in Sonic, it's funny how well you can match the casts up... (And still, what. A. Freaking feat to actually do it. XD)

Cell and Metal Sonic was actually one of the trickier merges to pull off, actually, simply because balancing their designs together proved harder than you might think. But yes, it IS kinna creepy-cool how well the two casts sync up. X3
