Good point. I should do that too. They are basically a ring of waxed thread (made by wrapping it around something like a pencil) and then covered in buttonhole stitch with a shank attached.

Yes, this does look similar to the shirt I made. The neckline is different and it seems a little simpler. Maybe I will give this one a shot.
