Description
In this AU: Amity realizes her dream of being in the Emperor's Coven. And truth be told, she has Lilith to thank for it.

As a young girl, she, Willow, Judith Clawthorne, and Ember Autumn were inseparable. That is, until Odalia forced her to forsake Willow and Ember due to her magic having been late to develop apart from hers and Judith with the threat of keeping them out of Hexside if she didn't. Heartbroken, she was forced to agree to her mother's terms. The next day, the most tragic thing happened: Ember appeared to have killed herself and her parents for failing to live up to Amity's supposed expectations. As a result, Judith attacked her in a fit of sadness and rage and told her that she would never forgive Amity for what she did to Ember. Ever since, Amity believed that the only friend she was allowed to have was her Otabin doll that she would hold close to her for what she thought would be the rest of her life.

8 years later, Amity met Ben and Luz, the former of which seemed to reflect her more closely in his actions, with his own standoffish attitude towards her as he stood up for Willow, and the latter of which somehow intrigued her. All the same, Amity's relationship with Judith was as rocky as ever. But during the Covention, while Ben was corrupted by the Sword of Xanatos and about to make the killing blow, Judith stepped in and allowed her the opportunity to escape as she, Eda, Lawrence, and Lilith fought against him, saying as much as she hated her, even she wouldn't wish that on her worst enemy. After having the dark Sword of Xanatos forcefully removed from his hand, Ben checked up on Amity, feeling guilty for how he made her feel while Luz comforted her.

While she was recovering from a nearly fatal battle gone wrong, Amity explained that she didn't know she was cheating and that she wanted to be in the Emperor's Coven not only to prove that she was a strong Witch, but also for the main reason: to get her freedom from her family, especially the people who cut her off from her childhood friends. Ben understood her desires and apologized for his rash words and deeds towards her, though he still asserted that she should still treat her friends better than she did back then, which she told him she'd think on it before undoing the Everlasting Oath she placed on him prior to the Witch's Duel. When the group left, Amity confronted Lilith, demanding to know why she'd used her to cheat against Ben with a Construction Coven Patch. Lilith felt guilty for putting Amity through the humiliation that came from cheating and told Amity she had done so to capture Eda and help her with her curse. Even after she confessed that she was responsible for her power boost to the others, Amity didn't quite forgive her for the shame she made her go through, but she nevertheless continued her tutelage with Lilith to improve her magic and her chances of getting in the Emperor's Coven to make up for the it.

After many misadventures since then, especially concerning Luz's own curse, Odalia convinced Principal Bump to expel Luz, Judith, Willow, Gus, and Ben from Hexside, much to the fury of the fifth who called her a coward with a bitter tone when she didn't stand up for her friends. This broke Amity's heart as it echoed what happened to her 8 years ago. It made her think back on how far she pushed herself after meeting Ben and Luz, the two people who helped her change for the better. Then, that same night, Luz and Ben had accepted Odalia's offer to get them back into Hexside, with the latter having used an Everlasting Oath on her to be sure she'd keep her word. But when Amity intervened and destroyed the Abomiton 2.0, Odalia refused to keep her word, allowing Ben to trigger the curse effect of the oath, to disintegrate her into ashes. Before Ben could kill Odalia, Lilith stopped him, telling him that this wasn't the way to fix anything, but he still persisted, telling Lilith that Odalia would still ruin the lives of her children if she lived, that she got away with too much, and that she should pay for her sins, not her children. Lilith then told Ben and the others that as of that night, she would take ownership of Amity, Edric, and Emira for Odalia's unforgivable behavior and actions to her children. Ben reluctantly spared Odalia's life, and she, in turn, reluctantly allowed Lilith to take her children with her as she resided in the Emperor's Coven.

Since that day, Amity forgave Lilith for her act in the Covention with tears in her eyes and repaid Lilith's act of love by training hard under her tutelage, and when it came time, she not only earned her own Palisman, Ghost, but she was also able to make it into the Emperor's Coven. To commemorate the occasion, she dyed her hair to the same color in Season 2 to set herself apart from her abusive mother and her just-as-bad father. Little did she know that a darker turn of events was on the horizon...
