So yeah, I finally caught Mesprit. I took me over forty Ultra balls to get it on the third time around, stupid little thing. I kept gettg out of 'em. This really aggravates me when this happens and it usually leads to me giving them supid nicknames. (My Entei, whioch took forever to get, is names Beans... Beans the Entei....) But I figured Mesprit's cute enough so I named her Rosa. So now, after much hard owrk, I have all three. Nest project is Cresselia. I have a feeling this one's gonna get a really lousy name. I hate catching legendaries....I used my new tablet I got for my birthday on this doodle! HOORAY I finally got one
I may move this to scraps later.... I dunno. (I though it was cute, but it only took me two minutes...)

dude i know cresselia is apain first you weaken like it is actually drawn to dusk but still ahhh and plus that cresselia's hardcore for a pokemon man legendary girls are hardcore just hardcore oh and i caught mesprit with a great ball "WEIRD"

this took me forever to get like till 4 AM in the morning! started in the afternoon, I didnt have a pokemon that new mean look and had 99 quick balls, and i was on my lsat one and I got it O.O, cresselia is a pain to get ><;

mesprit is starting to be a big p.o.s. to me right now,ive already caught cresselia but mesprit, damn i hate that thing,i yelled at my nintendo DS because i couldnt catch it over 30 times now lol...

My brother is a pokemon legendary catcher god. D: I dunno how the heck he does it. I made him catch Uxie and Azelf. XD

Azelf and Uxie were really easy for me to catch. Mesprit was a bastard to catch though. I had no Dusclops at the time. I always use Dusclops against runners because Mean Look and high defenses. I caught Latios in Emerald easily with Dusclops and I'll do the same with Latias in my Sapphire. FireRed and LeafGreen, I'll use Dusclops against the fleeing legendary dogs like I did with Cresselia and Latios.

I got Pearl now too, and I caught Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. Uxie was pretty average difficulty to catch, Azelf was hard to catch, but I still caught him using Uxie against him. Uxie beat his ass!

Cresselia, is a PAIN IN THE BEHIND to get. I Chuck Quick Balls at it and PooF! Shes mine! I have most kegendaries exept to the fxxxing Azelf.

I caught Cresselia easily using Dusclops. Mean Look mixed with ghost attacks totally OWNED Cresselia. I only used 6 Ultra Balls before the 7th caught her. I couldn't get access to a Dusclops at the time I was chasing Mesprit though. I had to chase the sucker around all day until I finally got him. I used my Masterball on Dialga because I couldn't save the game before battling it and my Pokemon were tired from the battles with Team Galactic.

I used my Wobbuffet on Mesprit cause of it's ability to keep pokes from fleeing. But since she's weak, I battled her where it was hailing and let the hail weaken her. Then I ran and caught her somewhere else. (I still took a whole load of ultraballs though.) I'm doing the same thing with Cresselia, but I haven't gotten around to catching her yet....

i learned something out of catching my mesprit; NEVER USE MY REGULAR POKEMON! THEY WILL KILL HIM!!! and it'snot like Mesprit has good stats (if u compare it with Azelf, who is toughto battle)

I myself like Mesprit better. He has all high stats exept for his speed just being above average. 80 is his base speed I think? He has all balanced stats. His defenses aren't as high as Uxie's and attack stats aren't as high as Azelf's, but it's stats are pretty balanced and high. Uxie is more of a defender, but his attack stats aren't great. Azelf is an attacker, but hit Azelf's poor defenses and he's done for. You'll be lucky if he doesn't faint. Mesprit is good for both attacking and defending. He can hit and still stand up against an attack, except maybe if it's super effective. I always take Mesprit to the Elite Four with me. He does great! Uxie and Azelf don't do as well in the Elite Four as Mesprit does.

I'd like to mention that battling Azelf and Mesprit is also tough cuz they both use struggle when they're weak and then they die >.<

Yeah, but the move False Swipe helps alot. It always leaves the foe with at least 1 HP if the move would have normally knocked out the foe.

I KNOW!!! I mean I actually went to the department store and asked the clerk foe her recommendation and she tells me that it helps in catching pokemon and you can only imagine how pissed I was..
Hmm.. I find pralyzing them to be the most useful as they sometimes can't fight back, besides sleep and ice wear off and poison and burning is just a fight against time :/

Yeah, I paralyze my opponents alot too. Burns and poison just makes the opponent faint and sleep and freeze can wear off.

Oh yeah and saving before you go into battle helps too. If say, my Gengar killed off Mesprit with a critical Shadow Ball then it helps if I close my DS and reopen it as if nothing happened

Strange, because Cresselia was plain easy for me to catch. I used Mean Look from Dusclops on Cresselia and weakened her with his Shadow Punch and then I caught her with an Ultra Ball. In Pearl, I just chased her and weakened her and then on the next encounter, I caught her on my first Quick Ball.

actually u should just used some Dusk ball instead, considering he's in a cave then Duskballs become handy.. even though it will take a while, id have saved that master ball for the real deal; Arceus
