Ayaka is a young woman, who, has vivid burgundy hair that reaches her collar bones along with sideburns of the same length. She has a single cowlick atop of her head which is normally pointed towards the sky but "moves" according to her mood. Her eyes are cyan and she has fair skin. She is slim, and has skinny legs. She is a little over the average height, standing at 5'6 (167 cm)

She wears a light reddish pink sleeveless dress that reaches her thighs, having a small slit on the left leg, it is seen that she wears black shorts under her dress. She also wears a black cropped coat that with the sleeves rolled up to her elbow and black shoes. Sometimes she is seen wearing a black bandana over her mouth, although this was only seen during the School Trip Arc.

Personality:

Before becoming a villain and getting divorced, Ayaka was a civilian who was playful, kind, loving and caring despite her upbringing (as she was considered a "child who should never have been born" by her own mother and was neglected by her father for the most part of her life), the girl never complained about her life and always said that she was happy with what she has. She was and still is very obedient and would always listen to and do whatever someone who she's aquatinted with or is close to, asked her to do. She was considered a gem by those who took care of her because of her beautiful personality. Ayaka had attended an all girls school, which made interacting with males very difficult for her, because of this she first hesitated to agree with her marriage but in the end decided to go along with it as she would do anything her father asked for. This awkwardness of hers gradually disappeared as she had been living with a man she was not related to. She was very bold and would not be afraid to state what she thinks is right even if her opinion differs from the rest.

After her divorce, she started to change, although a part of her still remained playful and bold, she started to view the world negatively, she became quite bitter and resented the fact that she could never be happy and thought that the world was being unfair to her. For a period of time, Ayaka was aimless and didn't care about her occupation nor what she wanted as long as she is able to live. She is shown to possess a good amount of intelligence, and is a calculating person who often thinks because she speaks or acts and knows quite a lot about heroes thanks to her father's occupation. She is also very cunning and manipulative, as she would do absolutely anything to get her things done, even if she had to use someone else to receive the outcome she wished for. Ironically, she is a very patient person and a good listener, if you want to rant about something other she'll listen until the very end. Her form of speech is (surprisingly) polite and respectful, much like Kurogiri.

She has a very cynical attitude, only believing that everyone does something for their own interests. She is said to be cold when you first encounter her but if she somehow gains a liking towards someone upon their first meeting (ex: Kurogiri) her playful nature kicks in. When it comes to group conversations, Ayaka is very quiet but she is said to have a devil's tongue if provoked. She is not fond of skin-ship and would often avoid situations where physical contact is involved. It is mentioned by Giran that the woman likes being praised.

Plant Manipulation ( 植物操作 Shokubutsu sōsa ): A quirk that is adaptable to both offense and defense. She is able to creat and manipulate plants, including wood (to some extent ) to attack her foes or defend herself. Although her quirk is very useful, it is completely useless against fire, wind and ice, and any harm to her vines causes her to feel pain.

She is also capable of "talking to plants" while having direct contact with them (ex: touching a tree). This allows her to track down people, knowing when and where they went and what happened in that certain area. She uses this to gain information about her interests, but for her to do so she must have great concentration and must not be distracted/disturbed.

Vines: Multiple vines sprout from the ground and wrap around her target, constricting them. They also stop attacks from harming her. She is also capable of turning her arms in to multiple, smaller vines.

Man eater: through a single flower blooms a man eating plant that is 10x her height. The man eater protects her against her foe(s) but for her to use this, she is in need of a base or support so she mostly carries around an artificial flower in her coat.

Nevertheless the child was born, much to her disdain. A few years passed, a six year old Ayaka found out about her mother's dislike towards her and viewed herself as a curse on her mother's life. The one and only time where her mother ever asked her to do something for her was moments before her death. She had asked the young girl for the bottle of sleeping pills, to which she handed over as per her mother's request..

A few days prior to her death, Ayaka was visited by her father who decided to take her in as she was the only 'proof' of his love with her mother. The reason was that his wife had also recently passed away due to having lung cancer so he decided to go back to 'the woman he once loved'. With her father, Ayaka lived quite the normal life, having her quirk manifested and attended school, although she never mentions the schools she attended.

Years passed and Ayaka grew up to be a beautiful woman, being described as a 'copy paste' of her deceased mother. Sometime after her 22nd birthday, she was informed of her marriage with someone she knew not. Although she did not know the person, she did marry him as he was someone chosen by her father to be her significant other. After her marriage, Ayaka lost all connections with her father, this made her feel bad about herself as she thought that he only raised her so she could be wedded off. A year after her marriage, one of her kidneys started to fail. The doctor said that it might be due to her being exposed to toxins while in her mother's womb, but the effects started to show later on. Although she was able to survive with just one kidney, her husband insisted on her getting another one because he wanted her to be completely healthy. Fortunately, there was a donor but she grew quite hesitant about getting surgery because it risks a chance of never getting a baby. After discussing it with her husband a few days before, Ayaka was filed with sorrow as he said that it was okay if she won't be able to have children and that her health matters more than that.

Sometime after her surgery she requested for a divorce from her husband. She wanted him to be happy and live a good life and felt like she would be a burden on him because of her, she didn't like the idea of him not being able to be a father because of her. After little to no success of trying to make her rethink her decision, he agreed to the divorce and told her that he truly loved her. After that, Ayaka lived by herself for approximately 3 and a half years, doing various jobs for a living. During that time, she changed drastically and didn't bother much about her occupation as long as she is able to survive. At some unknown point she meets kurogiri. Finding her quirk rather useful he recruits her to be a member of the league of villains, her reason for becoming a member is to destroy people's happiness.
