Wow that is such an amazing shot, to watch nature at its best, scary and yet still fascinating, and from reading posts and people who hate spiders are amazed and love this shot to, and the detail you got on the spider is fantastic, the hairs, the fangs, you got it all and a amazing shot

Most webs I come across are up in the air . In order to get the shot I use a small step ladder and either turn to it (if the shot allows ) or under it to get the eyes.

Okay........now, we're talking about that BIG one that's in your gallery right ahead of this one, right???? That's this one, right? And, she was bouncing on the web, right? Now, I'm not scared of spiders, per se, however, I wouldn't want it landing right on me either!!! I can't say that I would have crawled underneath to obtain this shot as you did...so, my hat's off to ya!!! You CERTAINLY deserve credit for this incredible shot!

Spiders have a way about them .and this one is to never fall of his web it would take an hour for him to crawl back up the side of house or tree to get back on 
So I wasn't afraid of that .
I'm more afraid of get a water drop on my new lens ( I mean on the glass )

Oh,yes...I understand totally about water on the lens! Either you have studied this spider or you know a lot about spiders...the information is very interesting. I've always felt that they are more scared of us than we are of them! LOL!

Yes they are , in my area we only have two spiders that will done any harm ,black widow and brown recluse .
as long as the spider I'm capturing is not one of these then I really don't worry .
But I would still jump if it landed on my nose , hehe

Yeah me too when I was taking it . The spider will shake the web as much as two inches sometimes to make sure the prey is stuck . And there I was underneath it hoping the spider didn't fall off , lol
