Because I just had to upload something while I'm working on my 3D LucyI had this idea to base some of the trains in Mercasya on streamlined steam locomotives, because even though they're nowhere as fast as current-gen trains, they sure look like they could go fast (which they did, for steam standards)
So here are two of them! The first one is the Type.12-Neo, which is based on the Belgian NMBS Type 12 steam locomotive. I've transformed this one into a bilevel train with a bunch more windows and lights. The chimney is only there for aesthetic purposes.
The second one is the Mercu-3L, based on the New York Central Mercury Trains. This one has become a "trilevel" trains, with the stair looking things at the front replaced with even more lights. Always need more lights.
Both trains are maglevs (as are all the trains in Mercasya) and run on wireless electricity. They can easily reach speeds of 800 km/h and higher. They're also fully automatic and have high-end AI to aid their passengers.Β

Very cool studies. I recently played a video game where the train had a large role in the game. The game created an interest in me in regards to the design of trains. Don't know what it is, but they are very impressive works of craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing! Well done.

It's called Syberia. It's available on the platform known as Steam. There are a total of 3 Syberia games, the third one came out this year. I personally enjoyed the first one the most (haven't played the 3rd one yet). It takes place in a Steampunk world. I found a picture of the train for you, in case Β you wanted to see.

Totally understand. I, myself, got a little lost with the puzzles they need you to solve. You need some superior observation skills and an abstract way of thinking to beat those games. (Not complimenting myself since I needed to use online tutorials to figure out more than half of the challenges.)Β Β Β
