Description Hooray for stereotyping

This was our mid term exam for PreProduction (Drawing) We had to drawn an alley from scratch with the use of references from a city and it had to be visible from which city it was inspired from I chose for Lucca in Italy

We also had to add a story to it, so since I didn't know what to do about the city Ahaion in Mercasya ( That fantasy country of mine: fav.me/d6hh9bg ),  I decided to add this story:

When the first humans landed on Dodéca, some settles at the seaside of Mercasya where they built the very first city of this country: Ahaion. This city was divided in regions, with each region related to the countries on their previous planet, Earth. So Ahaion had for example an English region, a Dutch region, a Spanish region and so on. All these regions had their typical objects from the previous world, like buildings and food. In this drawing I've drawn an alley from the Italian region around 100 years after completion, complete with a pizzeria and a small fruit and vegetables store. As this is still around 900 years before Lucy was born, electricity was still provided with wires as opposite to time period where Lucy and her friends live, where all electricity is wireless. If I would've drawn this in the current time period, all the wires would be gone, but the buildings would of course still be there, but no one would know anymore what's written everywhere, since everyone in Mercasya can only talk a new kind of English and/or The Wiskunian Language.

I got 15/20 for this drawing, one of the highest grades you can get (Or at least that's what I remember, the have mysteriously removed the file with all the grades on it. Hmm..)

Now for our 3D exam, we have to recreate this in 3D. That's why I made those props a while ago: fav.me/d6tkj7r

As you can see, the trash bin, chair, menu board, traffic sign and lamp post are also visible in the drawing

Thanks! And I'm already doing that, almost finished the rough 3D sketch! (that's right, I have to sketch in three dimensions)

Thanks!

It's all about practice and planning everything out. Before I've drawn this, I made a top view and some side views from this alley and its surroundings. It kinda broke my mind, to be honest

Omdat ik daar eens ben geweest, en het een bijzondere brug vindt, met de winkels erop.
