Yeah, I don't see why pirates in fantasy RPG's etc shouldn't have flintlock pistols or Samurai shouldn't have muskets. D&D do have alchemy, it wouldn't be too hard to imagine that the alchemists in that Universe had invented black powder.

Meh, they had a samurai class at least once in 3.5 D&D. I don't care too much.
It will be interesting to see what they do for the Gunslinger.

Yeah why not! After all I've heard a lot of people claiming that steampunk is fantasy and in steampunk there's definitely guns. So bring 'em in!

Guns in games are ok.
Guns for everybody, I'm not so sure about that one!
