This is a very late, late art-trade I did with . I did his character, Lian (Japanese/Chinese lethal babe, check out his gallery to see the original character) and he did my ever-present character, little Rosie-Annie (And a great job at that... check it at his gallery! plugplugplugplug). I tried to combine Japanese weapons with a more Chinese color scheme/clothes, if that makes any sense... Although it was hard to balance it out, because she has so many weapons and so few clothes. I think we arranged to do this about 2 months ago, but I kept getting distracted with school projects and stuff. Sorry dude, but at least it's done now!EDIT: Saw the leg issue immediately after reading your posts and changed it. Surely, computers are the tool of the picky artist. Thanks for the feedback!

Maybe the feet are too small--otherwise the anatomy looks nice, and the lineart as a whole is quite good. The coloring is quite good too.

Anyway, I love what youve done here. I just love all the small details you bother with - but theyre all important ones. Such as the detail in her hair, caught my eye in particular. And the striped socks etc. As with all of your work colours are fantastic. I love the blues on her legs, and the shadows (Especially the weapon shadows). Excellent work.

amazing, she's in the air in a action filled moment, yet the rest of her is relaxed astho its a calm peacefull momnet, the stress between her flying threw the air holding a sword and other various weapons, agenst a calm cool colected and almost playfull face makes this one a work of genius.
i love how the colors mimic that of a pastel drawing, yet i know you color all your work digitaly.
Digital paint, but was it a digital drawing as well? or was it an oldschool pencil drawing?

It transferred well from lines to colored. I like the sense of design with the flowing sashes and butt-flaps (how do you say butt-flap in Japanese, I wonder? Better ask Eliot, he's the expert). Although I'm prone to say the shiny objects are my favorite part, I think the place where this is most successful is in the red shirt and the blue hues in it.

Awesome color and sense of motion, even in a seemingly static pose. Her feet/calf area seems too small somehow, though they measure up with the rest. I don't know . :@_o: Really great job on the rest of the anatomy, though, with the arm in that tricky-as-hell pose and the sense of weight and form in the thigh.
