The statement is so true, it isn't even funny. Please pardon my language, but Mrs. Meyer's work, including her latest book, is puerile and monotonous. She lacks any sense of plot, character, or the functions of a REAL relationship.If you're one of those people who knows that the writing is bad yet still likes the book, you can still comment.
But if you're one of those people who are like "TWILIGHT IS DE BEST BOOK EVAR U SUCK BELLA X EDWARD 4EVER", then just leave. Quietly.

Honestly, yeah, I agree with you %100. It's just that there's more to it than that. It isn't just horribly written, it's downright disturbing and stalkerish. Seriously, anyone who sneaks into your bedroom to watch you sleep is NOT boyfriend material, that's a person you call the COPS on.
And yet so many teenagers (and some young adults too) fall victim to it. It's just... terrible.

The war outside the book is who is better, Jacob or Edward. The war inside the book is do you love Bella with the passion of a gajillion burning solar eclipses, or do you hate her with, oh, same passion. THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN FOR ANY OF THE CHARACTERS :< It's silliness, silliness I swear!

I totally agree with you. The reason she's so popular is because of all of the fanservice she writes. It's like reading fanfiction. She doesn't write like a novelist. It's not worth it to spend money on something that I could get on the internet for free.

Bella and Edward are the flattest characters in the book despite their role as the main characters, and their romance takes the "can't live without you" to a disgustingly unhealthy level.

It obviously is a dead giveaway. As a condensed script version by said, "EDWARD: Oh, I may have hinted that I am stalking you and that this is in no way a reflection of what Stephanie Meyer wished high school was like".
My sister read almost half of the book.

...yeah. I feel ashamed that I used to like this series. I'm making my friend read it because she would always get mad when my other friends and I would bash characters she didn't know, but my nightmares have come true! She loves the series. -sigh- But I guess at least she KNOWS that the plot sucks, and she KNOWS that the characters are boring, and she KNOWS that it's very redundant, ect. ect.
