Saw a pic similar to this uploaded the other day. Everyone liked it.. well it happened that I took a very similar picture as that one, that same day. Here it is, hope you like--

Good pic. it's really amazing how pretty it is. i read this book once and it makes me think of how foggy it probably was. wish they had that nice of pics in my history book

the tree is nice...and the fog gives a great feeling of lonliness... but i think theres too much unfilled negative space... a crop would be nice.. as would a manip of this composotied with other images

Nice shot man, It's a shame about the small smeared part of the tree, looks like a little water on the lense. I love the atmosphere which the fog/mist create, leading the eye so far. Its good how you have some smaller backgound trees visible in the distacne to add more depth. well done.

the misty foggy feel is, well, nice. being that the tre is the only thing there, it makes an intersting subject.

How ironic the use of the word 'war' in the title when the picture is so peaceful and benign. The beautiful tones of greyish blue and the mist conjures up memories of some lazy and dank winter's afternoon. A deserving favourite indeed.

that's beautiful with the fog and the lighting.. the silhouette of that tree looks just like the tree in the movie "the ring", which i happen to watch last night at 1am, im still freaked out by that movie.. but anyway, awesome photo!

very atmospheric, and very still. kind of eriee. the single tree in the foreground gives a very desolate overtone to the picture, and the distance of the sihlouetted trees in the distances adds to the feeling of desolation. also abit of isolation present. i like the way the centre of the photo is lighter than the edges, the way the light drifts off towards the edges, it helps to give that feeling of depth.
