We watched How to Train Your Dragon for the umpteenth time last weekend, and I realized that I love this movie and will never grow tired of it.

Lily and I drew some crazy dragons of our own last night as a tribute, but I wanted desperately to try my hand at Toothless.

I love the end credits of the movie that reflect hand drawn concepts for the characters and dragons and I recalled seeing a great piece online and found the reference I used for this. Used the Copic warm grays to create a tone for the paper and used the blending fluid to add water spots to weather the look.
