I did not just do this. Seriously. ;-; Darned rule of thirds.For composition's sake, I had a nice big empty area to fill up.
And then I did the sky and overdid it, for one thing.
Then I started on the grass but since Elky was still sitting there, uncolored, I did her first. xD Then I went back to the grass.
ANYWAY somewhat late Christmas Present for Elky Happy Holidays!
Sky- 3 hours
Elky- 1 1/2 hours
Grass- 4 hours
= 8 1/2 hours

Great coloring as always. The mood here is also really nice. And the details are fantastic!
Watch the shoulders, though. It looks like it's a paper cut-out stuck onto the ribcage. I guess a look at skeletons and short furred quads would help you lots on that bit~

The only thing that's bugging me is how the two front legs aren't the same length; if it were to straighten out that one leg I don't think they would match. ^^
