Recently I was in Gothenburg for practical reasons but I took a few days out to appreciate the surrounding country. Thankfully the weather co-operated during my day trip to nearby Varberg. This is the locally famous 1903 Varberg bathhouse, a somewhat surreal but interesting sight to me in the early winter sun after days of dull weather in the city.Related content

very nice! it's a shame the picture's made unbalanced by the the white building on the right, it takes quite a lot away from the picture (could probably be removed in photoshop)

Hah yes, for two days during the stay it was lovely, if cold! I have never even really seen a bathhouse before though I imagine they are more common in Sweden!

well, there are... baths that are outside <.< but... still called bathhouses. Can't really explain :'D
