Susan Richards, also known as the Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four, is seeking out opinions from some of the heroes of the Marvel Universe regarding her new (circa 1992-94) costume. Her first stop? Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. the Scarlet Witch of the Avengers.

"So...what to you think?"

"It's...different."

"That's the idea! In my old uniform, I was invisible even when I wasn't invisible. Reed, Ben and Johnny always hog the spotlight. Now, people are going to have to notice me."

"Oh, that they will."

"You sound like you don't like it."

"It's not that. It's just...going to take some getting used to. Susan...has your son Franklin seen you in this?

"Of course, he has. Why would I hide it from him?"

"That little boy is going to need so much therapy when he get's older, you can't even imagine."

"That's ridiculous! Franklin is a very mature little boy. He can handle it just fine! Besides, he's seen me wearing less at the beach and the pool."

"I'm just saying. A boy with god-like cosmic powers and an Oedipus Complex? What could go wrong?"

"Oh, so just because I'm a mom, I can't be sexy, too? You're one to talk! And my outfit doesn't show much more than yours does."

"You do know I'm wearing a body stocking under this, right?"

"You do know you can see right through it, right?

"Sue, it's just...well, you're a role model for so many of us. You were one of the first of a new generation of heroes. Maybe the best of us, even. And you're a wife and mother on top of being a phenomenal, inspirational hero."

"And you're saying this outfit is going to change all that?"

"N-no, but...aren't you worried that people might not take you seriously?"

"People take you seriously dressed the way you do, don't they?"

"Well..."

"Fine. I get it. You don't like it. It's just a matter of taste. I respect that. You know who'll like it? Psylocke."

"I don't think..."

"I mean, it's practically the same costume as hers."

"No, Susan, I really don't think you should go see Betsy."

"Nope, my mind is made up. I'm on my way to Westchester...where they appreciate haute couture. Good day."
