Thanks man, yeah I drew her entirely from memory, which is why it doesn't look as good as I could have done if I was looking at a reference picture. But still, not bad, eh?

Np man and indeed not bad. For EG pics right now I have to look at refence pics. Ponies I think maybe from memory but I printed out a two pics just in case sorry to brag.

Hmm...it's hard to say. It almost looks like the halfway point between MLP and reality. It's like part cartoon and part human, if that makes sense. You incorporate the cute, sexy, adorable appeal that MLP itself makes with its characters, but also draw them in an abstract way that seems so realistic in areas. For example, they seem skinnier than their cartoon counterparts, and their faces/wings seem so much more human-like, too. It's really amazing.

I've gotten that before, people saying my way of drawing ponies seems more realistic or pseudo-realistic than the style in the show itself. I take that as a complement. Actually the eyes and faces are inspired by how they are on the 3D models of ponies made by *KP-ShadowSquirrel (which a lot of people use in Garry's Mod, including me.) Well the eyes, anyways. The way I draw muzzles is kind of just a slightly more "realistic" or detailed version of how they look in the show, although to be completely honest I tend to go back and forth between drawing ponies in my own style, and drawing them more close to the show's official style.

And as for them being "skinnier" than how they are in the show, I'm not so sure that's intentional. I draw them with longer, more defined bodies, yes, but I guess in the process it makes them look skinnier. I mostly do it on mares to make them look curvier and more voluptuous, like drawing a much more defined plot and flank than would be allowed in the Y-rated cartoon. Especially apparent in Stargazer's case...she is the most well-endowed mare, plot-wise, that I have ever drawn, and yes, it is intentional.
