Description
Mind Flayer from Dungeons and Dragons.I took the pose (with few adjustments) from the new 4th edition Monster Manual, page 189. I just wanted something fun to play with the inking on.
Inked with a mix of Staedler pens, Micron pens, Sharpie marker, and Uniball pen. Colored using Photoshop 5.5.
Plain inked version can be seen in my scraps.

i really like the coloring of it. i've got a "Monster Campaign" coming up soon, and i'm going to be an Illithid Wizard, so i'm glad to have a concept of what i may look like ^_^ wonderful piece of art

Love the inked textures that you kept evident beneath the coloring. Illithids have always been among my favorite D&D beasties.
