so since i proposed the whole arttrade thing i decided to actually stick with it. this is the one with , who tried to make this as hard as possible for me. and i'm not gonna lie. it wasn't easy.the idea was easy to get for me, but actually doing it was a pain in the ass. god what the hell am i gonna do for the other ones. regardless, i'll do them all.
i'd looks 10x shittier than in real life. it's just impossible to take a decent picture with not decent lighting. i'm not sure if i like this even.
by the way, the skull is that of a donkey.
and the hands are obvious failures. god i hate them.
my mom actually saw me paint this, now she has the suspicion that i'm sadomasochistic. haha. but that's actually kind of bullshit. if you're sadomasochistic, you're either a bully and an asshole because you enjoy hurting other people, or you're pathetic because you like people beating you up. oh well. toodles.

Very beautiful, very eerie. The ethereal greens of the background really clash with the harshness of the subject matter, and lights up the piece in a most otherworldly manner.... The more I look at it, the more I like it.

Somehow, this "sadomasochist" line reminds me of Clive Barker's works (which I know only by the comics made out of them...).

Wow, really nice. I like the details, the dripping blood and the skull. I really like the background, the green of it and the red of the body clash together to make the body stand out. And I don't see anything wrong with the eyes, Nice job. By the way, how long did it take you to do this? You seem to finish things so quickly and they always turn out great

thank you so much! it kind of depends. for a painting like this i usually take about 5 hours if i don't include breaks. i took around two days on this one because it was on and off. an ink drawing or anything od the like usually takes about 1 1/2 altogether.
i kinda gave up on the hands, they suck. haha

Haha, I personally don't think the hands are bad at all. Maybe it's because I am taking a fresh look at it, while you have spent the time studying them for two days, haha. If you had a hard time with them, it could have left a negative impression with you no matter how they turned out. Don't be so hard on yourself though, you have great talent and creativity!
