It's been awhile since I actually designed and submitted a desktop wallpaper design. So i thought what the heck.I got really grungy with this one and did a lot of painting with some brushes. It's formatted for a 1280 x 1024 screen (cuz that's what i use )

i don't use them that often, only because i think that they are a bit of trendy whoreis cliche kind of thing. they just seemed to work with the grungy feel of this wallpaper.

The glow of the lightbulb is lovely. The scratches, torn marks are a nice touch too. Well it is a trademark of yours

I'm sure this deviation didn't take u up to 10 mins....and other deviants who work for hours to do something great and detailed..they just don't get views cuz they r not subscribers...

Obviously you do have a problem with me. Noone forced you to look at this deviation. Noone made you click the link. Yes I have a lot of pageviews, but did you take the time to look at my gallery? did you take the time to get to know me? I am a very humble person who takes that time to thank and correspond with everyone that faves, visits or leaves a comment. My subscription has nothing to do with it.
Yes, this deviation was just something fun that I created. It didnt take hours. Did you take the time to look at the rest of my gallery? You are right this image did take a short time to create. you want to know why? because I have a strong foundation in design and I am self taught when it comes to photoshop. How dare you good Sir accuse me of such things.

while I certainly agree that the lightbulb in itself helps support that notion, i decided to put in there because I specifically designed that wallpaper for my desktop for my new studio space. Sometimes a little reinforcement doesnt hurt.

thanks cogs. There is a lot of grunge out there. unfortunately some of it is just poorly designed.
I usually try and use brushes in a way that makes them a bit harder to recognize, but in this case i thought 'oh what the hell!'

Way impressive, man. I really like it overall, but probably what I like the most is the design you choosed. Makes the light bulb stand out in a nice way. And I can't forget to say that I love the grungy feel to it
