Although photo-stories never really took off as a medium I had bought an early digital camera to use for my work as a festival reporter. About the same time I was approached by a dog warden to take on a dog that had been abandoned at a boarding kennels by it's owner and he became my practice subject for the new camera.

As the images built up I began making up stories based on the image sets and this was the first.
