Description
This is another picture of a raptor that I saw at Huxley's Bird of Prey Centre in Horsham (www.flyingfalcons.co.uk ). This one is a peregrine falcon, which is known as the fastest animal on Earth, with one recorded dive reaching a speed of 242mph (389kph). Who knows, maybe they can go faster if we don't look at them.

I caught the bird when it was briefly pausing from preening itself, hence why the wing is unfolded like that. I think it makes for an interesting picture.
