When my cats do that, the birds just start dive bombing them.

They're mockingbirds that do that, in Texas, because everything's, um, meaner. In Texas.

A nice mixture of minimalism and detail. I esp. like the cat which has a feel of silent manevolance and swishy-tailedness! It's spikeyness makes me think of some of Louis Wain's later work.
What's the round thing top left? A falling apple? The sun? A tennis ball from last years Wimbeldon that disapeared into a wormhole in the space-time continuum and has only just re-emerged perhaps?

Re. the tennis ball : The slight squidgification of the purely spherical shape suggests an degree of molecular distortion associated with the partial decay ratio of hydgrenated isotopes in the beta-emmission field of sub radiated protons; and their reformation as refracted cyclotonic protons (in accordance with Hershgoffers 37th law of electonuclear fractalization) that is commonly observed when a small object has passed through a loop in the relative time-space continuum.
Obviously.

You agree?
Does this mean that you reject the recent theories of Professor Gustav Miffpungle, as outlined in the Feburary edition of the highly esteemed publication 'The Journal of Quantum Mechanics & Theoretical Physics' (Vol LXXVII, Issue 27) in an article that he wrote therein, entitled "This Wormholes in the Space-Time Continuum Thing : It's a Load of Crap innit?"
BTW, I notice that you are nearing the 10,000 pageview mark! Which, as I understand it, means that you will soon be officially Famous. I'm not sure how these things work exactly, but I believe it involves the following:
*red carpets being rolled out for you every time you hit the town
*wearing a lot of sparkley designer dresses
*being pestered by paperatzzi photographers
*giving interviews in which you explain that your best friend is Elton John
At some point you will presumably also be contractually obliged to appear on what is laughingly known as a 'reality' TV show. This will probably consist of a group of Celebrity Illustrators being locked in shack in the Gobi Desert for 3 weeks, while in a nearby air-conditioned studio, Jordan and Bruce Forsyth comment on the zany antics and hissy fits that will inevitably ensue.

Hey, talking of Channel 5, did you see the Venitian Masked Ball they showed on Teusday night, during the final episode of 'Brian Sewell's Grand Tour'? That Brian Sewell eh? He's priceless! Surely he can't be for real!!! He seems too much like a PG Woodhouse caraciture, a tongue-in-cheek pastiche, the plummy equivalent of John Shuttleworth.
On this particular episode (which unfortunately was the only one I saw in full) he started by going into paroxysms of hand-clasping rapture over a Caneletto. He then proceeded with considerably less enthusiasm to a Venitian Costume/Mask shop & attended a Carnival Ball... "I have a growing feeling of revulsion & rage" he declared loftily at one point. Eventually he concluded that the whole thing was "tacky" & expressed abject contempt for the other guests at the ball on the ground that they were "middle-class people playing at being aristocrats". Personaly I thought it all looked rather charming.
But then, I'm just a Raggety Waif from the Council Estates, so what do I know of refined aesthetics?
Oh, BTW, *assumes the mantle of Brian Sewell* : I have to say, my dear, that I was shocked & appalled to read your frightful 'Big Brother' confession. Tsk, you may well hang your head in shame. This ghastly revalation vexed my refined sensibilities so considerably that it bought on one of my headaches & I was obliged to retire for a little lie down. I can only hope that you will seek proffessional help with this revolting & sordid addiction. *wags finger sternly in unbelievably patronising manner*
