I love that character? Will he appear in a story? I'd be curious to know what he has to tell...

He is an alter ego, so to speak, intended as the main narrator in a "living journal" (or
The Travelling Top Hat" series) that I dreamt up one day for our little gal. It's an ongoing project,
much as a private diary would be, though more as a fantasy-mixed-with-reality work. Think of the
wonderful "Letters to Sabine" in style.

Looks real nice....Tell me ABSOLUTELY if you publish it one day!! ^^

But what is Letters to Sabine? I was curious but couldn't find it on Google?

It is a trilogy now, but here's the amazon link and you can see the books : [link]

The author is Nick Bantock. Beautiful books indeed.

Thank you, M'dear. This time travelling gent/alter-ego is turning out to be a fun little addition to the Living Journal for Nika.

Nika's living journal suited this character methinks...and of course the cute little pup made my day
when it came across the stock photos on dA. Serendipity.

Thank you for the lovely comment and fave, M'dear.

Many thanks, M'dear. This will be an illustration for the 3rd part of living journal project (for our Nika).
Couldn't get over how closely the stock pup resembled our own Chihuahua mix. What luck, no?

You are so very welcome. I absolutely get floored by your art! I wished I could be sitting there watching you produce your work, you are so amazing!

And a super duper person!

That mangy dog looks like yours??? Well, how cute! I mean that! I have a dog, some say he is so ugly he is darn cute. My pup is chihuahua/shih-tzu mix.

You are kind, M'dear. Well, you would be bored to tears watching me cavort in PS. I tend to "fret" the art
a tad too much, go back and forth between multiple versions in dizzying fashion, and grumble profusely
when the PC crashes. Classic confused old codger.

Yes, our little pup is a mess, alas. He's a Chihuahua/Sheltie mix methinks. Smart as all get-out and
very good at wrapping us around his paw. Definitely has the herding instinct of the Sheltie. He is also a rescue
with terrible skin allergies, and has chewed and scratched most all the fur off his legs to little pink sticks, alas.
Worth his weight in meds, and definitely a life-long commitment re constant medical care...but we adore him anyway.

Actually, we have sheltered many rescues, especially the Eskimo Spitz breed. Just lost a wonderful little rescue pup (Kaiah)
to a rampant cancer. If ever there was a perfect dog soul, it was Kaiah. She was that one in a million, and I'm not certain
I shall ever recover totally from her loss, I fear...

Anyway, switching gears here, thank you again, M'dear, for the encouragement.

So then that is what I am.. a classical (I have given me a bit of history) confused codger (I am not old, dammit, well, ok, I am), cause I do more than just "fret".

My pup was a fantastic rounder upper, he would round up our horses when I went out to feed. He also would round up the chickens, until they turned around and went after him. LOL

I am sorry to hear of your dear Kaiah, I do not imagine to know your grief, though I can understand you having it.

Thank you dear dear man...
You are an inspiration to me!
