There is a saying I saw when I first starting costuming/cosplay, and time and time again I've found it to be true:

*NOTE* I do NOT recommend the second method, (unless you've already made one of EuTytoAlba's papercraft wigs and want to cover it with something so it doesn't look like paper), but some friends of mine keep asking, so in case it proves useful for someone, here is how I made my yarn wigs and why I will never do it again.

(+pictures of some of my own wigs, what companies they are and what they're good for.)

EDIT: I forgot to add in the section for MeiLiFang-- Asian wigs are smaller than American ones, so if you have an especially large head or really thick hair they might not fit right. ...as for me, I guess I have a medium head, 'cause the Arda Wig is a little loose but not too big and the MeiLiFang wig is a bit smaller but not uncomfortably so. I have longish hair too.
