honestly, i do like his skylanders redesign! it's really different, but still cute imo.
he just is a completely different character now. granted, i've played skylanders, and it is insanely fun!
don't get me wrong, i LOVE classic spyro- grew up on him entirely! but that doesn't mean skylanders spyro will get any less love from me~

the gameplay is entirely different- there is no longer a jump button, but they compensate for that in a way that makes a lot of sense and it gets very fun, really.
BUT it defs have the fun feeling the original spyro games have! in a very different way, of course, but i most certainly was delighted by it!!

i suggest playing before you buy- the gameplay isnt for everybody and it's a bit of an investment, since the figures and everything are expensive! hahahaha!
