I don't actually know what fandom decided, but for me there are two quite different ponies. Ditzy was once mentioned in Winter Wrap Up episode (related), and then shown as a pony with purple mane and same cutie mark as Derpy's, but who said, they can't be sisters or something? A fortiori, I like to see Derpy surrounded with dear ponies.Related content

my friend came up with a great idea. 'Ditzy' could be the mean nickname, because, in Derpy's words,
"Derpy means I'm silly. Ditzy means I'm dumb."

Rather, Derpy has a sister. I mean, she is more popular and often is called with any of these names.

Uh.... She actually came from the south, and brought out the birds, which means she cant be ditzy.

The point was, that everypony became organized and finished their tasks on time, and Ditzy too. Also, pegasus are really fast.
