I have always loved to draw or paint old broken down stuff. There is something super beautiful in the way that natures scours stuff. I think of them as "man vs nature" pictures. Nature always wins! This is an old '45 1.5 ton Ford truck. I loved it, and got a bunch of great reference photos. There is another one from inside it showing the inside, and the beautiful mountain through the windshield that I may paint one day. I love all of the colors of rust / oxidation. I especially like the violet edge.
