Needless to say I have not done much pen shading in the past.
Was fun though! Skitter finishing up some last minute work/reports/studying. Or, you know, staying up all night. Hard to tell.'Convergence Station' setting -->

Beautifully done! I might just feel intimidated the next time that I see you, you're quite a good artist! I personally tend to have trouble working in pen, it's just too unforgiving for someone as prone as I am to accidents

Thank you! And, heh, the nice thing about a scribbly project like this one is that I could just cover up mistakes, or bury them. When I couldn't I just had to roll with them; for instance Skitters shading didn't go at all how I'd planned, but once I messed up on the one section I just made it consistent across all of them and now it looks intentional.

x'D I guess deep down we're all the same, no difference despite race. Great pen work by the way, absolutely mind-boggling! Did you use pencil first or did you jsut go on ahead without stuffing anything up?

Yeah, it's amazing what even one shared trait can do to humanize something. And thanks! I did the outlines in pencil first--Skitter, the shape of the computer, roughly where the edge of the tank goes--and then all of the shading straight off with the pen. Was pretty fun scribbling in the shadows of the dark room.

So totally. Plus I found AvatarCraft, which is a server. It has a plugin that lets you bend one of the four elements, and I have gotten my ass kicked multiple times there...Me, being the competitive person I am, will keep playing AvatarCraft until I win more battles.
