Description

"I'm Singing in the rain, just singing in the rain.

What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again.
I'm laughing at clouds, so dark out above.
The sun's in my heart and I'm ready for Love."

My love for Steam Locomotives is showing again...

As you could probably geuss by my previous post, I've been listening to the Album "After Eight" by Taco. one of the songs on the album is a cover of Singing in the rain, from the Musical of the same name.

Singing in the rain is one of my favorite movies/musicals & when I heard this version of the song I instantly thought of Zeke!

I've always envisioned Zeke's voice as sounding like a Creepier version of Fred Astaire, but when I heard Taco's monologue at the beginning of the song I was like "THAT'S THE SOUND, THAT'S ZEKE'S VOICE!" (Well, maybe not that exaggerated, but you get my point XD).
It's a really fun version of the song, so I highly suggest you check it out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=js5SCv…

This piece was long overdue, lemme tell ya', I sketched this bad boy about a month ago but I hadn't gotten to it due to the Rick May tribute comic I was working on.
This took me a bout a week to get finished up Digitally, and it was really fun and challenging!
I love drawing really complicated backgrounds with tons of tiny details, they can be a little daunting to tackle digitally though (Since it always takes me 10x longer to detail something digitally than to draw it on paper), so I'll admit I was a little self indulgent with this. XD

I'm really happy with how the rain on the windows turned out, I wasn't really sure how to get the effect right at first, but I found that just outlining the shapes of the droplets/streams worked really well!

I had initially finished this around 12:30 AM yesterday night and decided wait on posting it until the morning, so I hit the hay figuring I'd be post it after I got up.
But when I looked at it the next morning I noticed one major flaw that really bugged me: Zeke was TOO BIG.

So I resized the linework, but doing so caused it to look kinda' blurry, so decided I'd just re-do the Zeke's Lineart, Coloring & Shading at this smaller size.
But since I had a bunch of other stuff to do yesterday, I wasn't actually able to get it done till the today, none-the-less I'm still really happy with how it turned out.

And I actually think that Zeke turned out much better the second time around than he did the first!

I know this description has already gone on long enough, but I have one last thing to say:
This is my first post since the Change over to Eclipse. I don't like but, as previously stated, I'm not leaving.
Thing's will get better, just gotta' stay positive that's all.
