I'm a bit put off that you didn't include Circassia, the Sami, Alans and Gazimukh being broken off of Russia and South Italy should be split between Naples and Sicily (just my opinion)

I find it hard to believe that Europe would just up and invade the U.K., or that the U.K would have joined a "continental" organization like the E.F. in the first place, which of course would mean they never "leave" in the first place.Β

For the Capital of a united Europe, I would see Copenhagen
would be a good choice since it is roughly in the center of Europe.

Okay it's true that it was the center of the Roman Empire, but today everythings centered around France and Germany.

I was actually thinking Luxembourg City since it already houses quite a few of the EU's institutions and geographically between France, Germany, and the Lowland Countries.

Yeah that could work.
Although if France kept the left bank of the Rhine, then Cologne would be the bridging point between the French and Germans.

Wow great I love that idea, also the story is interesting!
How was the problem with Sudetenland, SΓΌdtirol and Elsass-Lothringen solved?
Maybe an indipendant Elsass-Lothringen would be good.
Also I think the Austrians and Sudetenland would have joined Germany anyway, also without
Hitler.
But cool idea, really! have a nice day^^

Thank you.
I agree, maybe I should have made Elsass-Lothringen independent, so that the alliance between France and Germany would have been more definite/stable. Though in this case, those areas were treated as autonomous regions, and allowed to govern themselves.

If the divergence is Hitler's death, why is there an Ottoman Federation ?
π: 0 β©: 1
GTD-Orion In reply to AmongTheSatanic [2011-07-16 20:23:33 +0000 UTC]
I suppose I should have explained that with the main description. The Ottoman Federation was reformed shortly after the war with the Soviet Union, in fear of the European Federation. It's a loose alliance, quite like the EF, of various former-Ottoman states ( Iraq, Syria, Turkey, etc. ), united for defense and economic prosperity purposes. As for why they fear the EF- as you can see, Greece controls Constantinople- it wasn't like that before the EF ( although the aquisition was peaceful, if it can be called so... ).

Ah. Odd name though, considering even most of the Turks despised the Osman dynasty.

GTD-Orion In reply to AmongTheSatanic [2011-07-16 21:04:55 +0000 UTC]
Well, historically, there was a german state called Prussia ( that everyone seems to know ), while Prussia was the name of the prussian balt territory that they had control of. Considering that this faction has control of most former-Ottoman territories, I just assumed that it could/would be called so...

AmongTheSatanic In reply to GTD-Orion [2011-07-16 21:17:46 +0000 UTC]
I know a lot about Prussia. But in regards to Germany, being called Prussia would have pissed them off just as much as non-Turks calling themselves Ottoman. It just seems odd.
