I like the concept. I like the texture for the water, and her hair. I always have a hard time drawing hair underwater..but that looks great, Its simple, but it gets the job done!

It looks realistic, but still gavaized :3 Great warm colours and I love how the hair is reduced to a single shape, very nice touch! I especially like the way you drew her butt, legs, and feet! on the free texture library, did you look into the water one, or maybe did something else?
The background on here reminds me of a Japanese wind/water design, which I love it. It also reminds me of the thing in windows media player....the thing they throw in when your listening to music, giving you that funky designs and such. It reminds me of the one that's called "Smoke or Water?"
This came out awesome. To me, the visible arm looks abit small...but then again, look at my stuff....I don't have much room to talk. Your's is much better. *sniffle*
either way, I love it all. This is definately going into my favorites.

I assume she's diving into the sea right. Maybe a tad more blue values will reinforce the idea, though that yellow, water color on paper effect do bring out the Japanese feeling.

thanks, yeah, i have been workin on it since i uploaded and i've pulled back on the green a bit. but i was thinking of how the water is murky and green down below~ maybe not sewage green like this though, haha.
